Deep tissue massage therapy is a firm treatment. Deep Tissue Massage uses pressure and movement to release layers of tissue, as fascia, tendons,  the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints.

Reflexology is mainly concerned with reflex points on the soles, sides and tops of the feet that correspond to different parts of the body. The feet can be seen as a map of the body.

At my Eastleigh clinic, I apply massage techniques to the reflex points by using my fingers, thumbs and knuckles. Reflexology treatment aims to help restore balance in the body naturally by improving the client’s well being. Although I may also work on the reflex points on the face, ears and hands, the feet are mostly used.

What to expect- I start with a full consultation and asking questions about your health and lifestyle and to ensure the treatment is right for you. You’ll remain fully clothed apart from removing shoes and socks. You’ll be on a treatment couch where I will cleanse your feet before applying oil or cream to help a free flowing relaxing treatment. I then start with warming up the feet with gentle stretching and massaging your feet and ankles.

The different techniques will be thumb walking and I will work the reflex points on each foot. The pressure and areas treated will be to your needs.

The treatment can be last 30, 45, 60 mins.
